The National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) is a nationally-recognised climbing scheme aimed at introducing participants to the world of climbing. Moving on to developing their skills and solidifying their foundational ability, this multi-week course gives climbers everything they need in order to become a great climber!

The climbing award scheme (NICAS Ropes) is available for roped climbing, whereas the bouldering award scheme (NICAS Bouldering / NIBAS) is available for bouldering.

This intensive course aims to get all participants started on the NICAS curriculum in three two-hour sessions instead of the standard full term.
